When using commercial cleaning products, it is important for you to know how to use them properly, not only for your performance, but also for your health and to reduce the dangers and risks of injury and how to dispose of them in an environmentally friendly manner. Here are the different sheets and labels to consult before using them in order to have an optimal and safe use.<\/span><\/p>\n

Material Safety Data Sheet and Technical Data Sheet<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) indicates the effectiveness and preventive measures of the product in the container. Efficiency may vary depending on the surface being washed and the different uses. This sheet lists the effectiveness of the product for these different options.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, this sheet also explains the different dosages recommended according to the use. It also mentions how to use it safely for the environment and for yourself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, the technical data sheet is more focused on information such as the name of the product, the recommended use, the surfaces on which the product can be used without damaging. This sheet also indicates the recommended dosage and whether the product is organic.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note that this sheet can also be used as a sales sheet by highlighting the benefits of the product such as its organic, ecological and good results to highlight the positive aspects of the product.<\/span><\/p>\n

The supplier’s label and the workplace label<\/span><\/h2>\n

It is important to note that the supplier’s label is a document provided by the WHMIS which is a system that provides information on the safe use of hazardous products in Canadian workplaces. They are now introducing a Globally Harmonized System<\/a> so that every country can have the same systems for classification and labelling of chemical products. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Supplier’s label brings very important mentions like warnings of the risks and the dangers during the use and regular maintenance with the product.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, whether it is for a complete cleaning or not, it is important to follow the precautionary advice and measures recommended to reduce and prevent harmful effects listed on the supplier’s label.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for the workplace label, it indicates the name of the product, but more relevantly, it lists precautionary statements such as prevention, response, storage and disposal.<\/span><\/p>\n

These two labels are very useful for the user to know how to use the products safely, but also how to dispose of the containers in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.<\/span><\/p>\n
